Film Review by FilmFellaLozz – 7.9/10

It’s been three years since Robert Downey Jnr. reprised the role of smart-ass, quick-witted metal warrior Iron Man (well, in a movie of his own) and there’s been some changes. Most interesting is that Jon Favreau; the guy responsible for bringing Iron Man to the big screen and bagging the big bucks for Marvel stepped down from his directorial duties. The reasons are not entirely clear, but there’s a suggestion that the studio and Favreau couldn’t agree on speculated budget (constraints). Read more of this post

Film review by FilmFellaLozz – 6.4/10

Occasionally, well rarely…hardly ever honestly, will I actually voluntarily to make a special trip to the cinema to see a ‘girls’ night out’ movie. Majorly because I’m a man. A man who likes his movies with substance; or something that has action and/or unnecessary nudity…I’m not fussy. Well…on this occasion I though I’d treat my lady, Read more of this post

Film Review by FilmFellaLozz – 7/10

Following a ten-year spell of dabbling in motion capture animated features, including Polar Express, Beowulf and A Christmas Carol, Robert Zemeckis has chosen to return to live action movie making with this, Flight. End of Watch – Review

End of Watch Review – by FilmFellaLozz – 7.2/10

Following up his previous L.A outings in Harsh Times (2005) and Street Kings (2008), David Ayer now brings us his third movie, End of Watch; another gritty portrayal of South Central in all it’s grimy glory. Sharing writing credits for Training Day, S.W.A.T  and Dark Blue, you may be able to see a trend forming.  He’s one who’s definitely sticking to an area he knows, but there’s nothing wrong with that; just as long as he can bring something different to the table whilst at the same time adhering to a specific formula. The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 2 – Review

Film Review by FilmFellaLozz – 3.5/10

Finally the end of the drivel that is the Twilight Saga has arrived in the form of the fifth movie in the franchise, Breaking Dawn Part 2. To refresh your memory, here are my thoughts on Part 1. For the past 5 years, the cinema going public has had to endure this vampiric nonsensical bullshit surrounding Edward Cullen and Bella Swan’s blossoming romance. But not anymore; that shit’s over with now, so you can take a sigh of relief and wipe your weary brow. Read more of this post

10 Reasons why…The Goonies is still the best kids’ adventure movie ever!

Richard Donner’s quintessential coming of age/adventure movie is now almost 30 years old. It’s really hard to believe that, unlike a lot of eighties movies, The Goonies, still after nearly three decades has aged so little. Read more of this post
